I was actually hoping for a normal winter this year. I wanted tons of snow and cold and a winter similar to the ones I experienced as a kid. This year I got my wish, but winter just seemed to overstay its welcome just a bit. I guess I can't complain too much because Hoyt Lakes Minnesota, the town in which my Sister now lives, got 24 inches of snow yesterday. We, on the other hand, had a glorious 70 degree day followed by an even better day today.

The whole Myers clan was at the end of its rope. The babies were just about to commit mom to a life in the asylum. Just when we thought we couldn't do it anymore, a weekend like this comes along and our whole outlook changes. Everyone seems to be so much happier. When the kids spend some time outside, naps suddenly become longer and attitudes improve. I am not getting my hopes up that the weather is here to stay, but it was a much needed reprieve.

Love the pictures of them in the swings. Can't wait to take them to the park. Don't let this warm weather fool you tho; after all, this is Michigan. But it sure was nice to get a little break and see the sun.
Pray for Sarah and Adam.

What's that green stuff on the ground in your pictures...and why don't your children have snow suites on?
