Father's Day Roundup

I mentioned before that the day my kids were born was one of the worst days of my life, and the following 3 months weren't much better. My first Father's day, on the other hand, might have been the best day of my life. If you would have told me a year ago that one of my best days would be one in which I would be peed and puked upon twice, I would have undoubtedly rolled my eyes in disbelief. We started the day with an awesome breakfast consisting of my wife's famous homemade pancakes stuffed with cottage cheese and topped with fresh fruit. Anyone who has had them can attest to how good they are. I spent the entire day playing with the babies followed up by grilling out and margaritas (of course). Per my request, we took a family nap. I know that sounds a little cheesy, but it's so fun to plop everyone on the bed and pass out. It's amazing what I consider to be a good day compared to what I would have thought it was 10 years ago. There's a good chance that the 23 year old me would have thought the 33 year old me is pretty lame. Funny how your perspective changes. Finally, Greta gave me a bottle of my favorite cologne, so even though I may be covered in urine, formula and whatever else, at least I don't smell like it.

Strange how many similarities between your 21st birthday and your first fathers day there are.

Good point Kevin! I love that in the last picture Gabbie is making a face just like JJ's, Lukas looks less than amused and Niklas is just trying to escape...I'm sorry that your daddy is wierd. I love you babies!
